About the Author

Kristina Dalton was a six year member of Romance Writer’s of America and Central Florida Romance Writers, as well as a regular critique group. She acted as a contest judge for CFRW, contributed articles to their newsletter and participated in many RWA-footed contests. Taken, the first novel in the Garrett series, made bestseller on BooksOnboard during its first week of release, and placed third in the very large and competitive romance category of the 2007 Eleventh Annual Preditors & Editors Readers’ Choice Poll. Her first modern Garrett novel ranked third in the 2008 P&E Poll in the erotic category. Mrs. Dalton’s novels consistently rank in the top sellers with online retailers for Stonehedge Publishing.

Her love of horses, military history and tactics and human psychology give her plenty of material for writing. When not working, she indulges in movies, much chatting with friends, and generally attempting to take over the world one square foot at a time.
