AMERICAN ROMANCE WRITER MENTOR PROGRAM
Due to the time required to take a project from read to release with Stonehedge Publishing, I am unable to accept many projects I have considered viable. This is not due to a lack of faith in the writer or work. Rather, what I feel an unfairness to the author for their expected delay.
This coupled with a recent experience has prompted me to do something more personal. I am starting a mentoring program. This means I will select writers to help with queries, synopsis writing and a few elements of the shopping process in seeking publication.
I will do this at ZERO expense to the author. However, you must meet the following criteria.
1) You are at least eighteen and never had a title launched in any medium.
Please don't try slipping by underage or with an alias, then explain why you wasted my time.
2) You live in the Continental United States with a reachable
I cannot add to my typing load. I will conduct a great deal over the phone as a joint effort with open communication. My dime.
3) You write romance of any type.
As an editor I handle all genres. But, with the help of very talented consulting authors published in the areas I feel less solid. They kindly lend their expertise so I don’t short anyone. This is my personal endeavor and cannot ask for their time.
Should I choose to take you on, it will remain on a good faith basis. If you prove me correct in selecting you, I will do my best to help you.
